ribbon cutting ceremony for the Hooper Renwick

On June 16, 2025

I had the honor of attending the ribbon cutting ceremony for the Hooper Renwick themed library located at 56 Neal Boulevard.

This event marked a significant moment in our community’s history, celebrating not only a new chapter for the location but also preserving the legacy of Hooper Renwick School.

This library is a living monument to the countless individuals who passed through Hooper Renwick’s door, those who fought for equality, who nurtured young minds and laid the groundwork for future generations.

I left the ceremony filled with gratitude and inspiration.
Gwinnett Democrats Blue Breakfast

On Saturday, June 21, 2025

I had the pleasure of attending the Gwinnett Democrats Blue Breakfast. This event was an opportunity to get to know local democrats, elected officials, and candidates.

Former Mayor of Atlanta and Gubernatorial Candidate Keisha Lance Bottoms was the featured speaker.

I am grateful for events like this that keep us informed energized and ready to make a difference.
